cotton candy dreams

i've been absolutely obsessed with buying candy-coloured clothing recently and this outfit is no exception.

the coloured shorts play up the spring/summer freshness needed for an outfit yet the tough add-ons and black accents help to keep the outfit from looking too summery; not to mention the non-bare legs.

these shorts are one of my fav new purchases - they make a pop of colour and with the lace texture, they create a lady-like vibe. i toughened them up with my grungy combat boots and black accents. the black tights added to the 'tough' vibe of the outfit but were also a requirement for our not-so May-like weather we've been experiencing in toronto.

the sweater i added on top of the tweed crop-top helped to create a lady-like appeal with the sewn on pearls and, as usual, i don't go anywhere without my arm party and statement piece necklaces.

this is one of my fav outfits i've conjured up thus far! what do you all think? :)
