i wanted to spruce up a skirt i've had for years and didn't want to wear just a regular, plain coloured top with it. i've been totally into the colour-blocking dressing and i found this shirt at a local thrift store and loved it but have not worn it yet. i decided this was the best time to dig it out and put it on display and i felt it gave a different look to the skirt. due to unhealthily cold weather in may, i had to don my black hosiery again along with a sweater to keep out the chill.
SKIRT / f21; SHIRT / thrifted; SWEATER / thrifted; JACKET / thrifted; NECKLACE / stella & dot; BRACELETS / f21, vintage; FLATS / aldo; SUNNIES / d&g; PURSE / vintage; SCARF / ysl
working in the city means a LOT of walking so i pulled out my comfiest pair of ballet flats and threw on my khaki windbreaker jacket to beat the cold. it turned out to be a beautiful day and i probably could've gone without the hosiery - however, sometimes i feel the hosiery gives an outfit that added punch needed. plus, hosiery always pulls off the intended chicness.
happy wednesday!
Love the color blocked top, and that jacket is SO cute!
