floral makes the world go 'round

hi all, sorry for my most recent hiatus, i've been utterly busy with work which has been allowing little time for play.

my dressing lately has been sophisticated for work but still with the ease of movement making it much easier to stand this heat wave we have been encountering.

nothing makes a girl feel girly more than flowers - this is one of my fav maxis to throw on for running errands around town, a day at the beach or a nice dinner out paired with a cropped biker jacket and some heels.

rainy days

hi all and happy monday...if there is such thing...

this past weekend/week/and upcoming week has nothing scheduled but rain, rain and more rain. joy!

dressing for rainy weather can be tricky - with spring/summer in the air all i want to do is wear flowy maxi dresses, sun dresses, skirts and bright attire. this couldn't be more wrong for rainy weather.

this is usually my go-to outfit for rainy weather - a comfy cozy sweater, skinnies and a good pair of flats if i choose to forgo my hunters.

this is a very 'me' outfit; very lax and low-key with an abundance of arm candy and textures. this shirt is 100% silk and looks equally cute tucked into a pair of high-waist cigarette pants or pencil skirt as it does left open and breezy over a tank and boyfriend jeans.
